The Call for Proposals for the 2027 Texas Conference on Digital Libraries (TCDL) is now open.
TCDL 2027 will take place May 25-27, 2027, in Austin, Texas.
This year’s conference theme is From Seedling to Evergreen: Rooted in Community. The theme invites us to reflect on how we cultivate digital spaces and communities with intention while creating opportunities for growth, collaboration, and renewal in our work and professional communities.
We welcome proposals from both first-time and experienced presenters. Session types include presentations, panels, lightning talks, posters, workshops, Birds-of-a-Feather discussions, and User Group Meetings.
Proposal submissions are open through February 1, 2027.
The Call for Proposals includes information about proposal topics, session types, submission requirements, review criteria, important dates, and the optional TCDL Short Paper publication opportunity.
TCDL 2027 is using ConfTool for proposal submission and conference management. All proposal submitters, including individuals who have participated in TCDL previously, must create a ConfTool user account before submitting a proposal. ConfTool is a change from the systems used for past TCDL conferences.
Complete proposal guidelines, session descriptions, proposal requirements, review criteria, important dates, and submission information are available on the TCDL 2027 Call for Proposals page.
